Abstract

In this thesis, we have discussed the nature of CDW and SC in TiSe2. The calculations have been directed to the 2D (monolayer) form of this crystal but, by virtue of the strongly layered structure of its bulk form, our conclusions are expected to apply equally well to the 3D case.
