Abstract
The article deals with the problem of human change in conditions of modern society and economy. An impact of digitalization on human being and the resulting problems of ideological, psychological and social nature are considered. Dialectical interactions of real and virtual worlds, human mind and artificial intelligence, on-line and off-line communication are also analyzed. Their correlation is a most difficult humanitarian problem of the digital society. «Homo digital» is characterized as a product of digitalization and the owner of the fundamentally new qualities and value orientations. The authors are sure, correct human values are vitally important for the digital world. Their wrong interpretation leads to the triumph of consumerist ideology and social degradation. Equality and humanism, by contrast, are qualified as the main values of the modern society. But it can’t be called «humanistic» yet. To make it so, the basic human values must be applied in conditions of digitalization. The real progress of humanity is possible on the base of self-improvement, human consciousness, intelligence and spiritual qualities development.
