Abstract
The neck is a major site of migraine-associated pain. Numerous studies have shown the efficacy of the decompression of the greater occipital nerve to ameliorate migraine symptoms. Whereas a number of potential compression sites along the course of the greater occipital nerve have been reported, we describe the anatomical details of the only consistent area of nerve compression of the neck.
