Abstract
Morgagni hernia is also called retrosternal hernias as it occurs through a defect between the septum transversum and the costal margin of the diaphragm, most frequently occurring on the right. Congenital Morgagni hernia (CMH) is very rare, comprising 3% to 5% of all types of congenital diaphragmatic hernia. Commonly, it is diagnosed during childhood but can remain asymptomatic till adulthood. The clinical features, diagnosis and management are discussed.
