Abstract
Intussusception is a pathological condition in which a segment of intestine invaginates into the adjoining intestinal lumen, causing intestinal obstruction. Intussusception is seen in infants and children but its incidence peaks at 4 to 9 months of age. The etiology, clinical features, diagnosis and management are discussed.
