Abstract
A varicocele is an abnormal enlargement of the pampiniform venous plexus in the scrotum. Varicocele is rare in the preadolescent males. They are most frequently diagnosed when a patient is 15–30 years of age. It is more common on the left side. The clinical features, diagnosis and management are discussed.
