Abstract
Bladder carcinoma (BC) is the fourth most common type of cancer in males from Western countries, with primary prevention through addressing well-established risk factors being an important public health challenge (Ferris et al. in Actas Urol Esp 37(8):513–522, 2013). This chapter is an introduction to epidemiology in bladder cancer.
