Management of Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer

Abstract

The 2nd International Consultation on Bladder Cancer presented recommendations on the screening, diagnosis, and markers of bladder cancer (Kamat et al. in Eur Urol 63(1):4–15, 2013). This demonstrated cystoscopy alone is the most cost-effective method to detect recurrence of bladder cancer (Kamat et al. in Eur Urol 63(1):4–15, 2013). This chapter reviews the usefulness of screening in bladder cancer.
