Abstract

This chapter presents the uses of reusable and single-use flexible bronchoscopy for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. It also emphasizes the recommendations for safe bronchoscopy and crucial roles of anesthesiologists to provide safe sedation or anesthesia during these interventions particularly in the bronchoscopy cabinet and during the perioperative period of thoracic surgery.
