Abstract

The Address Book Application (ABA) is introduced as a case study. After a few ABA requirements are described, three versions of a structured programming (SP) solution are described. Each SP solution is described using source code, a hierarchy chart, a Nassi–Shneiderman diagram, and a statechart. The three program design criteria described in Chap. 2 are used to evaluate each solution.
