Abstract

This chapter reviews the American Board of Pediatrics content for psychosocial emergencies. Included in this section are questions dealing with all types of maltreatment, behavioral disorders, and acute psychosis. Questions are geared toward diagnosis and management of emergent psychosocial disorders in preparation for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) board examination.
