Abstract

Mobile devices are integral tools to facilitate day-to-day activities. These devices have a large variety of sensors, modules and there are a huge number of services which can be used to facilitate human work. This paper deals with the creation of an application for simplified management of notes and tasks using one of the most popular social messaging platforms Facebook Messenger for its distribution. The aim of this work is to create a chatbot application which enables the user to easily create tasks and to notify other users about the changes made and show advantages of application publishing without Google Play store. For comparison with a common solution, a standalone Android application test application will be implemented to use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for notification. In the end, both solutions will be compared in a matter of testing the speed of notifications and the impact on battery consumption.
