Preoperative Preparation

  1. 1.

    Place multiple large-bore intravenous lines.

  2. 2.

    Utilize double-lumen endotracheal tube.

  3. 3.

    Place right radial arterial monitoring line.

  4. 4.

    Consider PA catheter.

  5. 5.

    Ensure all IV fluids are warmed.

  6. 6.

    Ensure generous blood supply available.
