Abstract
In this chapter, the Foul Play Project (FPP) results are used to evaluate risk factors associated with the injuries of child victims , the ways law enforcement , health professionals and other personnel respond to child victim incidents, and the traumatic impact of child victimization. The community effects are also investigated. The FPP is based on a random sample of 5,366 cases involving possible foul play that were reported in the media .
