Abstract
MR imaging of the shoulder is one of the most common exams interpreted by musculoskeletal radiologists. The most common indications for MR imaging are for the assessment of the rotator cuff injury, joint instability, and persistent pain despite physical therapy. In this section, we highlight how to diagnose and dictate many of these conditions with focus on injuries to the rotator cuff tear, labrum and other intra-articular structures.
