Abstract

The chapter goes into more detail about risk and uncertainty, arguing that we focus too much on the former and not enough on the latter. The chapter clarifies concepts we’ll need for subsequent chapters. These include decision trees, psychology, and social risk. The chapter also highlights decision making, which is tightly entwined with risk and uncertainty.
