Abstract

This chapter looks at ‘heavy,’ ‘dominant’ or ‘derivative’ usage of English integrated within the translingual English texts formed by the Mongolian EFL university students on social media, while these ‘heavy’ assimilations of English may also signal the idea of linguistic authenticity.
