Abstract
In this chapter, we devote to the stability analysis for a class of discrete-time switched systems. By constructing a QTD Lyapunov-like function and exploring the property of MDADT switching, improved stability conditions are provided for discrete-time switched systems, which can be used to the systems with all modes unstable, partially modes unstable and all modes stable. Then, sufficient conditions with the form of linear matrix inequalities are deduced to guarantee the asymptotic stability of discrete-time switched linear systems. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of developed methods and compare with criteria obtained by time-independent Lyapunov function methods.
