Abstract
a species of denticulate conodont elements in the order Proconodontida and family Cordylodontidae. Its first appearance (currently considered to be 485.4 Ma) marks the GSSP for the beginning of the Early Ordovician in Newfoundland, Canada. The species is also known from the United States, Kazakhstan, and China.
