Abstract

In this paper, the categorization of educational institutions in Sarajevo Canton, Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been proposed. TABULA approach [1] is used for classification of buildings according to the climate zone, period of construction, type of institution and specific architectural characteristics of buildings. The matrix of buildings is developed and the representative samples for each category were determined by using multiple regression analysis. It is demonstrated how the typical representative for schools with the sloped roof has been chosen out of detailed energy audit reports. Calculation of energy need, delivered and primary energy, as well as the CO2 emission factors, for all representative buildings was done according to the TABULA methodology. Current study introduces a systematic approach within the public buildings stock, which can be used for proposal of the cost-optimal energy efficiency measures in the future.
