Abstract

Hackathons support active learning by being a temporary space where an enormous amount of creative ideas can be shared, then through iterative design a prototype is created and pitched. Hackathons like the MoBi conference bring together artists and scientists allowing for true integration of arts and design into STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) and the potential of true collaboration.
