Abstract

Network abnormalities and outages just like hidden bombs that threaten the network healthy. The link abnormal detection can help locate network issue source. In this paper, we propose a probe recommendation algorithm for link delay detection via independent path which to filter duplication and get recommended probes for specified target link. Compared with [1], our algorithm effective draws down the number of probes by 51%–92% under condition of maintaining the accuracy of detection.
