Abstract
As the title suggests, this chapter outlines the project out of which this book came, the nature of the book, the reasons for the book, the audience intended, and what the reader can expect to find. Highlights of this chapter include a clarification of what is meant by dialogue, a discussion of the dialogical traditions drawn on (Buber and Freire), and an overview of each of the dialogical chapters.
