Abstract
Primary central nervous system (CNS) tumors are the most common solid neoplasms of childhood. The pediatric brain tumors are more diverse than adult CNS neoplasms. While some tumors have pediatric counters, there are some tumors which are overwhelmingly encountered in the pediatric population. In this chapter, representative cases of common pediatric brain tumors are presented. Revisions in the most recent version of World Health Organization’s (WHO) Classification of Central Nervous System Tumors were also discussed as it pertains to the pediatric brain tumors.
