Abstract

First, I’d like to apologise to the reader—and thank you for getting this far. Trying to write a book about tax that doesn’t drown the reader in technical details is difficult. I received many letters after the first edition of this book with comments like ‘this is my “go to” book’ and ‘this book is always on my desk’. These are either very welcome accolades or signs of some very disturbed people out there!
