Abstract
Bolide plumes (smoky trails) were compared in ancient chronicles to serpents and dragons and, as it is the head of a bolide that shines most of all, the dragons were called firedrakes. The Chelyabinsk superbolide absolutely supports such a comparison. In this chapter, we will consider the evolution and features of the bolide caused by the fall of the Chelyabinsk meteorite in more detail.
