Abstract
This article describes the Concurrent Design methodology adopted in the ESA CDF, the experience gained during the activities performed in the last 20 years and highlights the benefits of three specific aspects and applications of the concurrent design approach that can become assets for innovative capacity building: Education, Interoperability, System of Systems (SoS) architecting.
