Abstract
Over the recent years, the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) in Support of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications has seen an increase in the organisation’s membership base, as well as growth in its role and influence in critical international space organisations. This growth trajectory is set to increase as SGAC plans to further expand its reach on a global scale. Through projects, events, scholarships and dissemination of information, SpaceGen aims to be the premier network for young space professionals and students. For this reason, SGAC provides an environment for growth, engagement and professional development for our members from around the world to gain skills that can prove essential to their future careers. As an organisation run predominately by volunteers, without a membership fee, SGAC has proven itself to be the platform for the future space workforce.
