Abstract
This chapter describes the steps in building system dynamics models in health and social care. It covers the process of group model building by which system dynamics models are constructed and validated with management/clinical teams and positions the approach of the authors. It also references alternative modelling and simulation methods and their software and alternative approaches to health and social care analysis and improvement.
