Abstract

This chapter outlines practical approach to rapid on-site assessment of fine needle aspiration of thyroid lesions. It discusses the diagnostic considerations in different types of thyroid lesions. It also discusses cytomorphologic features and diagnostic pitfalls of commonly encountered thyroid lesions.
