Abstract
The chapter draws a comprehensive picture of the study and lays the foundation for the subsequent chapters. The chapter sets forth the background of the research problem prior to the explicitly stating the research problem and proceeds with the laying down of the objectives of the study and justifying the need of the study. In addition, the chapter also gives a bird’s eye view of the landscape of IT sector in India and gives an overview of research hypotheses, which is followed by the description of the design for the research. Thereafter, the scope of the study is defined and lastly the structure of the book is evinced.
