Abstract
Transient hypogammaglobulinemia of infancy (THI) is characterized by persistent low levels of IgG, below 2 standard deviations from mean, in infants above 6 months old
Most children improve by 24 months old and IgG levels are commonly below 400 mg/dL
Antibody response to infections are commonly normal
THI is frequently underdiagnosed as most patients are not unusually susceptible to infection
