Abstract

This study explored the acts of Strategic Management in academic libraries. The paper  depends on a study that was led in 2015. Using ILMA University formerly Institute of Business and Technology (IBT) library as case study, it expected to figure out the way of moving ideal models in data administration, set up the key difficulties and discovered how Strategic Management was drilled.More imperative information was concurred through meetings with pioneers of academic libraries in the ILMA University), a business School in Karachi. A Strategic Management model was designed for academic libraries of the University to conquer the hindrances that they may confront in their future systems. Models give a framework to envisioning reasonable movement. Educational libraries have had long-standing associations with the investigation environment. In the blink of an eye, as they tune in setting up future purposes, chairmen may be all around served by the orchestrating perspectives being grasped by school research executives and imperative authorities. The Model, which is displayed in this paper, is an eventual outcome of an extensive audit of Strategic Management compositions. It gives a tenet to insightful libraries’ pioneers to grasp Strategic Management gauges and practices in their libraries and to beat the obstacles that they may stand up to in their future strategies.
