Abstract
The building industry plays an important role in the economic development in China. It is more and more unrealistic to rely on large-scale and extensive production mode to promote the development of construction industry. Building information model (BIM), a new technology, has been applied in various fields of construction industry. First, this paper explores advantages and characteristics of BIM in quality supervision. Furthermore, a framework for BIM-based quality supervision model in project management is developed. Finally, an example is implemented to illustrate the proposed framework and research conclusions and future directions are provided.
