Abstract
This morning I went to the Place somewhat earlier than my usual hour. People were just coming, one by one, in the mild May weather. Still, I hoped for a sizeable audience to gather consisting of not only common gapers or horror-loving loafers but also of learned people, educated brains, well versed in scientific matters. I wished these people of merit and understanding to be witnesses of this elevating and grandiose day.
