Abstract
This introduction makes the case for the importance of pedagogy and the training of future instructors of global politics. It argues that emerging citizens should have the opportunity to practice engaging the complex global aspects of their reality and that constructing environments that make such practice effective requires hard work, creativity, and honest reflection about ends and means. The introduction explains the common prompt given to each author, summarizes the organization of the book, and provides a very brief overview of each narrative. It ends with an argument for more reflection, conversations, and formal training about the pedagogy of global politics.
