Abstract

Based on the proposed mathematical models, the stress and strain state of earth foundations consisting of saturated soils was calculated under different loads applied on the original ground and under certain combinations of loads (interinfluence of foundations). The paper gives the results of calculations of stressed and deformation states of loaded saturated bases through time. Calculation formulas for the final ground settlements are obtained that meet the stabilized state of the bases, skipping the description of the consolidation process, which responds to the requests of designers. All calculations show the unloading effect of pore water on the reduction of stresses and strains that arise in the soil skeleton. The calculation results were compared with experimental data.
