Abstract
Delirium is a common, dangerous, and underdiagnosed condition in older adults. It occurs particularly frequently in hospitalized older adults and those with dementia. While it is reversible, identifying the contributing factors and addressing them is critical. This chapter will review the presentation, diagnosis, and management of delirium.
