Abstract
The IEEE 1302 specification references all of the test methods that have been used to test Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) gaskets and several tests that can be used (IEEE 1302, Guide for the electromagnetic characterization of conductive gaskets in the frequency range of DC to 18 GHz. IEEE Standards Association, 2008). The historical development of each of the test methods used (and proposed for use) is presented in this chapter. The possible use of slot aperture and nested reverberation rooms for testing is also included in this chapter.
