Abstract

This chapter presents our approach to robotic small bowel resection. In this chapter and accompanying video, we performed robotic small bowel resection for a bleeding small intestinal cancer. Perioperative planning, robotic setup with instruments, and a step-by-step approach are provided in this chapter. Two methods of robotic suturing are demonstrated using the V-Loc suture or suturing with Lapra-Ty absorbable clips.
