Abstract

Russia is still a country whose economy is focused on raw materials exports, so the issues of implementing domestic innovations are of great importance, and therefore the study of innovation infrastructure factors which can affect the economic development of the country’s regions in the medium and long term are urgent as well. The main purpose of the article is to analyze the impact of innovation infrastructure on the economic development of regions. The main tasks and principles of managing the development of modern innovation infrastructure of the region are revealed. Using correlation analysis the influence of innovation infrastructure factors on the economic development of the regions has been estimated, and positive relationship with some of them has been identified, as well as cause-effect dependence between the indicators of innovation infrastructure in the region. General recommendations for the development of innovation infrastructure of the region are developed.
