Abstract

Professor Mavor, the head of political studies at the University of Toronto addressed the following open letter to Sir Thomas White, Prime Minister of Canada. He also offered it for publication to the newspaper “Citizen.”

We therefore provide the translation of the Author’s rendition of this letter and the exact text of the letter in Appendix 2. James Mavor was born in Britain. He moved to Canada to became a professor of Political Economy in the University of Toronto. He assisted in the early negotiations of the Doukhobor migration.
