Abstract
We collate the known results to date about the classification of endotrivial modules for “Very Important Groups”, that is, symmetric and alternating groups and their covering groups, finite groups of Lie type, and sporadic simple groups and their covering groups. This final chapter ends with an idiosyncratic observation, leading to an open question.
