Abstract
Benign skin lesions are encountered frequently in primary care offices. These include seborrheic keratoses, skin tags, cherry angiomas, dermatofibromas, sebaceous hyperplasia, milia, and pyogenic granulomas. Though the vast majority of these do not require treatment, it is important for the primary care clinician to be able to identify them. This might include simple pattern recognition or use of techniques like dermoscopy.
