Abstract
There is something like a complementarity between the Brillouin–Mandelstam effect (which is usually called the Brillouin effect) and the molecular scattering of light, the phenomenon which, as Chap. 4 said, was described by Lord Rayleigh and Max Planck and was studied by L.I. Mandelstam in Strasbourg.
