Abstract

As we discussed in the previous chapter, among all the business processes that have been drastically changed due to technology and are directly affected by globalization is supply chain management. Any discussion about globalization is incomplete without a dedicated discussion of global supply chain , the heart and soul of globalization. Digital transformations have brought significant changes in this process, combined with the operational changes brought up by globalization, virtually reducing geographical distance.
