Abstract
Despite the best of care, spinal surgery has inherent risk of intraoperative spinal cord injury (SCI). Early detection and treatment of intraoperative SCI is crucial. This chapter contains the recommendation to minimize intraoperative SCI. Anesthetic management, electrophysiological neuromonitoring technique, and pharmacological therapy are addressed in this chapter.
