Abstract
Outpatient nurses increasingly suffer from physical and psychological complaints as a result of their work. In a research project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (“Dynasens,” Dynamic sensor-based personnel deployment and route planning in outpatient care), solutions for the physical and psychological relief of outpatient nursing staff were investigated between 2012 and 2015. The following presents the major results and implications from this project.
