Abstract
This chapter covers the most common conditions that women experience and report those that can often lead to a referral to a gynaecology department. It is common for these conditions to be investigated and managed by nurse specialists. The chapter encompasses heavy menstrual bleeding, fibroids, intermenstrual bleeding (IMB), post-coital bleeding (PCB; or non-abnormal screening reasons), post-menopausal bleeding (PMB), polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS).
