Abstract
Piezoelectric transformer (PT) is an electromechanical transducer that employs the piezoelectric effect. The behavior of PTs is generally analyzed by solving piezoelectric equations or using equivalent electrical circuits. In this study, an implicit Lagrangian method was applied to predict the behavior of different types of PTs from the natural frequency of vibration and some geometric parameters. The calculation results secured good agreement with the data found in the literature on the subject.
